HTTYD 5: How to Twist a Dragon's Tale by Cressida Cowell
Review: How To Train Your Dragon 5: How to Twist a Dragon's Tale has the same humor, adventure, action and peril as the other books in this series. The theme for book 5 was very clearly, don't give up. Even when all seems lost, it's never too late. I love this sort of message, especially in today's world when so often the mentality is that if something is hard you perhaps weren't meant to do it. Or you should invent a machine to do it for you (I digress). Book 4 is still our favorite but 5 is a good read as well.
Important note: We have only listened to the audiobooks so we have not seen any of the illustrations in the series and cannot comment on their appropriateness.
Tip: if you want the illustrations and maps, you could always purchase HTTYD: The Complete Book of Dragons: A Guide to Dragon Species (We did and we love it). This has all of the dragon illustrations from the series. We’ve included a link below!

Possibly Concerning Content (Spoilers ahead!)
Language: None but there is name calling. A Viking is named ‘Big Boobied Bertha’ and they sing a song about, "strong are the breasts that crush without fear." A woman is described as having 'thunder thighs."
Romance: There is a romance from the past that is mentioned. No kissing.
Violence: A dragon is killed. A lot of reindeer are killed. A bunch of bad dragons are eaten in the end.
Magic: None this time.
Other: They pray to Thor and believe their prayers are answered. There is bullying that is never reprimanded. It's just ignored.
