Ahoy, mateys! The second book in this thrilling series is definitely darker than the first, but it’s just as entertaining! Hiccup and his crew embark on an adventurous quest after discovering a man sent to sea in a coffin for thievery. They follow a treasure map that leads them to an island shaped like a skull, where venomous dragons guard the treasure they seek.
We listened to the audiobook narrated by the talented David Tennant. His voice brings the characters to life in a way that makes the story even more engaging!
Important note: We did not finish the third book in this series. Check the note below for more information.
Summary:
Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III is a Viking hero—dashing, brave, and oh-so-clever! But even the mightiest heroes have to start somewhere. In this rip-roaring adventure, he recounts his early days when he still had a lot to learn about swordfights, shipwrecks, and those pesky homicidal dragons. It’s a wild ride filled with laughter and lessons!

Important Note About Book 3
We didn’t finish the third book (How to Speak Dragonese). It made us uncomfortable due to the Romans who eat baby dragons alive and cook others. There’s also a dragon claiming to be a 'living god' that can be summoned by saying his name. Because of this, we decided to DNF (Did Not Finish).
