HTTYD 6: A Hero's Guide to Deadly Dragons by Cressida Cowell
Review: In How To Train Your Dragon 6: A Her's Guide to Deadly Dragons Hiccup and friends attempt to break into a viking library in order to win a compeition, keep Toothless from being exiled, and hopefully convince the tribes to remove the ban on books and reading! It's the same peril and adventure with moments of humor as the rest of the series, though there was less humor and more peril in this one.
Important note: We have only listened to the audiobooks so we have not seen any of the illustrations in the series and cannot comment on their appropriateness.
Tip: if you want the illustrations and maps, you could always purchase HTTYD: The Complete Book of Dragons: A Guide to Dragon Species (We did and we love it). This has all of the dragon illustrations from the series. We’ve included a link below!

Possibly Concerning Content (Spoilers ahead!)
Language: None but there is name calling. There is also descriptions of lady parts, "her tremendous breasts heaved in surprise," and "even those boobies knew when they were beaten and they drooped in a distressed way."
Romance: None
Violence: A dragon is killed. There are mentions of a tribe possibly sacrificing people to a dragon. It's mentioned that this is most likely a rumor. There are threats of slavery. A man is sent to the slave islands to be a slave.
Magic: None this time.
Other: They pray to Thor and believe their prayers are answered. There is bullying that is never reprimanded. There is a lot of lying in this book. It's done to save lives but results in an innocent (though evil) man being sent to the slave islands. We're encouraged to not feel bad becaused he's killed people for stealing books.
Blurb:
To save his dragon, Toothless, from being banished, Hiccup must sneak into the Meathead Public Library and steal the Vikings' most sacred book. The Vikings keep books locked up and heavily guard. So to save his friend, Hiccup must brave the Hairy Scary Librarian, a dreadful army of Meathead Warriors, and the formidable Driller-Dragons. Will Hiccup live to see his next birthday?
