Review

My family and I are very into Star Wars (We have lightsabers...and books...and droids...and all the movies...and games...and board games...I could go on) so when we found out about this book I knew we had to give it a shot. But I was a little leery as the last YA Star Wars book we had tried (Lost Stars) was good but had some language and closed door scenes that I would have been uncomfortable letting my son hear. Also, the cliffhanger ending kinda sucks since it was never continued. Needless to say, I was hesitant to jump into this book. But we had just come from visiting Disney's World's Galaxy's Edge and had a 12 hour road trip home so I thought, alright let's try it.

I'm so glad we did! This is such a good book and I recommend it for all ages of Star Wars lovers! There is a romance but it remains kisses only. The world-building is wonderful! The characters are all memorable and you find yourself rooting for the MC's. The action and adventure is on par with the Star Wars movies and shows and even though there are no Jedi in this, it's still feels like a Star Wars book. We really enjoyed it!
