The blurb on the back of the book said this YA space fantasy romance (we really need a shorter name for that) was "The Greatest Showman meets Star Wars." Say less!
I really loved the first book! The imagery of the circus and the worldbuilding is just on point for this book! Each character feels like a real person with their own personalities. nd even though this is a scifi it leans more into the space fantasy genre. There was never a moment where I felt overwhelmed by the science or the terminology and in fact I was so absorbed I read it in a single sitting. The banter and romance between Talie and Renner is SO good! I Highly Recommend.
