Book 4: Dandelion Princess
Ya’ll, this book! I read it in one sitting and I absolutely adored it! Ella is the middle princess (along with her twin from book 2) and she is an adorable curvy nerd, into video games, k-pop music, anime, and asian food. She’s intelligent, fiercely protective of her family, and head-over heels in love with her best friend’s brother (who also happens to be her brother’s best friend). She promised herself she’d fall out of love with Marc at the beginning of the book.
Marc is the analytical, level-headed noble, best friends with the heir to the throne of Sondmark, and absolutely not in love with princess Ella. They are just really good friends and that’s all they can ever be considering he promised her brother he would never date one of the princesses. But after a year away Marc is finding it harder to stay away from Ella. The solution? Friends with benefits to get it out of their system.
I cannot tell you how much I loved this book. The best friends to more, forbidden love was just amazing. I loved this book so much I bought the paperback so I could annotate it. It’s that good.
Content note: There is a very frank, but refreshing, conversation about boundaries.
