Review
We really enjoyed this duology and were thrilled when we learned that the author, Laura Martin is a Christian. We are eager to read more of her middle grade novels and will update ya'll as we go along!

Friendship
Doing the right thing, even if it's scary
The Ark Plan
What a ride! We listened to the audiobook (wonderfully narrated by Emma Galvin) and listened to the entire 7 hour book in about two days! This book is filled with nonstop action from the moment Sky and her friend Shawn decide to leave the protection of their underground city to find her dad among the dinosaurs to the moment the book ends!
There are some intense scenes that may not be good for younger readers. If you've let them watch any of the Jurassic Park or World movies, you're should be okay (just to give you a reference). See P.C.C below for details.

Official Blurb
Dropdown blurb
"One hundred and fifty years ago, the first dinosaurs were cloned. Soon after, they replaced humans at the top of the food chain. The only way to survive was to move into underground compounds. . . .
Five years ago, Sky Mundy’s father vanished from North Compound without a trace. Now she has just stumbled on a clue that not only suggests his disappearance is just the tip of an even larger mystery, but also points directly to the surface. To find her dad—and possibly even save the world—Sky and her best friend, Shawn, must break out of their underground home and venture topside to a land reclaimed by nature and ruled by dinosaurs." - From Amazon

This was just as exciting as the first book! We listened to the audiobook again, and though there was a new narrator (narrated by Caitlin Davies) we still really enjoyed this. Davies did a great job (we actually weren't sure it was a different narrator until I looked it up for this post!)
I think Littleman might have actually liked this one more than the first one. There was a lot of pausing the audiobook to shout in exasperation, surprise, etc.
